Joseph Shannon is a Chicago attorney who graduated from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 1988.  For over 20 years, Mr. Shannon has zealously represented his clients in courts throughout the country.  In 2009, Mr. Shannon tried a personal injury case in Will County, Illinois which resulted in a $23.75 million verdict. Daily Law Bulletin 3_23_09.pdf

Mr. Shannon is a Chicago Attorney who has dedicated his practice to helping those who cannot help themselves.  Mr. Shannon is admitted to practice law in Illinois, Washington and Oregon state courts and has successfully advanced cases in numerous other states. 

During his career, Mr. Shannon has handled numerous cases involving transportation, product liability, medical and professional malpractice, medical device, automotive, employment, construction, insurance coverage, and commercial issues. Mr. Shannon resides with his wife and six children in west suburban Chicago where they are parishioners at St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church. Mr. Shannon is actively involved at St. Joan of Arc School as a coach in cross country and basketball.

Kathy joined Shannon Law Group as a legal assistant in 2010. She is a graduate of Marquette University with a degree in Business Administration where she majored in Management Information Systems. She is a member of American Association of Justice. She is avidly committed to working on behalf of our clients. Kathy is the past president of a local philanthropic womens’ club, has coached cross country and track teams, and volunteered her time to her childrens’ school and non-profit organizations.

Kathy lives in west suburban Chicago and enjoys spending time with her family, running and photography.


Ronda Johnson

Ronda has been a paralegal in litigation for 12 years. She is a member of the American Association for Justice. Ronda obtained an associates degree in Des Moines, Iowa from an American Bar Association Approved Paralegal program. She also attended Grand View College in Des Moines, Iowa.

Ronda currently resides in west suburban Chicago with her husband and 2 boys. She is a member and catechist at St. Margaret Mary Parish. She enjoys staying active with her boys in their sports and Boy Scout activities.
